Dr. Ghadah Abdullah

is the Deputy Director of Nursing for Critical Care, Nursing Education and Nursing Clinical Practice & Research Units which includes Wound Care, IV, and Pain nurses in King Abdulaziz University Hospital (KAUH), in Jeddah. Dr. Abdullah is the Chairman for the Pressure Ulcer Committee at the KAUH. She is also the Scientific Chairman for Cardiac Nursing Postgraduate Diploma at Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.

She is RN BSc with MSc in Advanced Nursing Practice from Nottingham University, in UK and Doctorate in Philosophy Nursing from University of Ottawa, in Canada. Dr. Abdullah obtained her intern leadership certificate from Kingston General Hospital in Canada. She worked as teaching and research assistant at Nursing Best Practice Research Center at the University of Ottawa, in Canada. She has a placement period with the Registered Nurses’ Association of Ontario, in Canada.

Dr. Abdullah has participates as speaker in several national and international symposium and she has several publications and her research focuses on nursing interventions, knowledge translation and hospital, patients and nurses outcomes.
